Awake Confirmed for the East Riding Rock Festival, the band will be performing on Friday 3rd of October, alongside Skyclad and many more.
Awake confirmed Dokkem Open Air
Awake will be performing @ the Dokkem Open Air Festival in Holland On Saturday 9th August, the band will be playing alongside Tankard, Blaze, Vengeance, Diamond Head and many more.

Due to unforeseen circumstances regarding our transport for the Night Of Rock Festival , we have had to cancel this weekends show. The company through which we booked the tour bus, double booked our vehicle and we did not have the time or extra finance to obtain another vehicle in time for the show.
The promoter has been fantastic and we will make a point of fulfilling our obligation to them by playing a show in Austria in 2008. German band, Crystallion, have taken Awake's place on the bill and we would like to wish them well.
August 2007
Awake have been confirmed to play at this years Night Of Rock Festival Austria on Saturday October 6th. The band will be main support on the night to German metal band Bonfire and will be live onstage at 9.30pm .
July 2007
Awake have just been confirmed for this years Cambridge Rock festival on Sunday the 19th August. The band will headline the Mulletboy stage and will be live at 9pm.
Awake are pleased to announce that their debut album " Illumination " is now available to download from iTunes . The album has been receiving some excellent reviews and there will be featured interviews and cd reviews in both this months Powerplay and Fireworks magazines, with the title track Illumination to appear on the cover mount cd of Fireworks.
The two shows for September will be sponsored by Zero Tolerance magazine and full features and advertising will appear in issue 19, out in August. The special guests for both shows will be Lion Music label mates, Sun Caged from Holland and Seventh Wonder from Sweden. The London show will see Sons of Science also appearing as opening act. Awake are really looking forward to the shows and working alongside these quality bands.

Tickets for the Saturday 15th September show at The Underworld went on sale today . The advance purchase price is £7.50 and we think £10 on the door. The support bands for the show will be label mates Sun Caged from Holland and Seventh Wonder from Sweden , there will also be another band from the UK as opening act, this will be confirmed soon.

The album launch party for the release of 'Illumination' will held on Thurs 14th June at The Man on the Moon in Cambridge. The band wanted to play an intimate gig in their home town for the release of their new album. They will be playing songs from Illumination as well some older tracks. The band comment ..''its been so long since we played in Cambridge and as its where we started its only right that have our launch party there'' Their will also be a signing session and the new album will be available to buy. This will be the first time Awake have played cambridge in 3 years so it should be a great night! |

The worldwide release date for " Illumination" has been confirmed for Friday 15th June. There will be a release party in Cambridge on either 15th or 16th June - details to be confirmed within the next week.
It is with regret that we will not now be appearing at this years' Metalcamp Festival, this is due to the release schedule.

We are delighted to announce we have signed a worldwide recording deal with Lion Music in Finland. The first release for the label is entitled "ILLUMINATION" which was recorded at Division One Studios, Gothenburg, Sweden and produced by Evergrey's Thomas Englund. No release date is yet confirmed.

Disbelief has been chosen as the track for our first video shoot which happened on 10th March 2007 at A & R Studios, Peterborough - working with MetalonRock Productions, also of Peterborough. The shoot went so well that we have arranged for some great still photography taken by Andrew Frisby to be placed in the gallery for your perusal!!. We should have the finished video online within the next couple of weeks.
On the live front, we have been confirmed on the Talent Forum Stage at this year's Metalcamp Festival in Slovenia. We are one of only two UK bands to be performing there - the other band being Threshold. The festival is headlined by Motorhead and Sepultura.
